Kimya Dawson and her project with Adam Green, the Moldy Peaches, are big ballin' right now! Riding the evergrowing strength of JUNO love (four Academy Award® nominations, including one for Best Picture) and the soundtracks' rise to #1 on the Billboard Album chart, the two stopped by Spinner.com's The Interface the other day.

The Return of Yacht Rock
During the sh!tty days of winter, you look for anything to get excited about. Luckily, I received a mid-winter present yesterday when I discovered a new episode of the hilarious series, Yacht Rock. For those of you not familiar with this, Yacht Rock takes us through the backstories of our favorite Yacht Rockers of the Eighties, such as Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, and Christopher Cross with Hollywood Steve as the host.
Michael Mcdonald & James Ingram - Ya Mo Be There
In this latest episode (Episode 11), we discover the true story behind Kenny Loggins' Footloose. There is a special guest cameo by Jason Lee, who plays a fantastic Kevin Bacon. Yeah, I know what you are thinking, I don't remember Kevin Bacon having a mustache. Me neither, but Jason Lee captures the true essence of "The Bacon", that you don't even really think about it. Who knew that Jimmy Buffett is such a maniacal son of a bitch? If you are interested in the other 10 episodes, search Yacht Rock on YouTube.
Kenny Loggins - Footloose
For those of you who are curious what Kevin Bacon has been up to, watch below…
I think John Edwards is on to something there. If he can get Tom Cruise to sing Danger Zone, Chevy Chase to do Holiday Road, and Bill Murray perform I'm Alright, I think that could be a platform I could vote for.
